There was originally going to be a story to go with this, but I'm a terrible writer, and the artist who was going to write it instead gave me another piece of artwork to make up for that, which I will post later.

Basically, it was going to be a story about how Gildas had feelings for Argus but wasn't sure how to convey them to him, then got his opportunity to do so in a cooking competition which Argus would be one of the judges for. Gildas would then get advice for cooking from Gavin, who would insist on him drawing a flattering self-portrait for him in exchange. When the competition finally happens, Gildas doesn't end up winning, but he ends up making Argus's favorite dish, and his feelings get through to him. Argus would then visit him later and ask why he decided to take part in the competition despite not being an experienced cook, leading to this scene depicted in the picture.

I mainly requested this piece because I like both characters. Argus seems like such a sophisticated boy despite being able to eat watermelons without taking off the rind, and I don't think Gildas has a mean bone in his body.
