Well let's be honest here. How many people when given a choice would go through and remove their shoes and electronics and go into a back-light scanner thing where they can see you naked on the off chance you might be up to something over just standing in a little sectioned off area and have a telepath look into your mind for a few seconds to see if you are up to something or not? I imagine the time saving alone would be a major factor for a lot of people. Especially people in a rush would take a four minute queue to have a telepath prove they aren't up to anything versus waiting half an hour for a machine to do it.

Also spent a bit of time figuring out how would a commercial spaceship probably board. Naturally you'd want the center of mass to be the closest possible to the center of the craft, so the heavy telepaths have to go in back. But also the notion that for seating purposes it'd be far more convenient, if slightly inefficient to design the craft so that people would still board like we would a plane, and then simply rotate the craft to fly vertically. Theoretically they could also take off like a plane and just keep going up and there are probably ships that would do that, but those would be far more inefficient at getting into space and take far longer to do so.

Finally, I have actually caught up to what I have written so far on this story so until I get more written this is all that's going to be uploaded of this one for a while.
