apple flowers. I don't think all the bees are visible, but you can hear them hum about. :)

Great Photo and I think I can hear the bees. My plum tree was in flower a few weeks ago - bees all over it. Now my Rosemary bush is in bloom - blue flowers all over and bees and butterflies are having a feast. An apple tree on the grounds of the factory I work at just started to bloom 4 or 5 days ago - tree grew from an apple core someone threw into a dirt area decades ago.
it's fascinating to watch them going into every little flower. or bumblebees climbing into their special blossoms and humming around in there until you think you'd have to pull them out by the leg... :) we also have some solitary bees I can't name. one is the size of a hornet, and roars like a plane, and is the colour of darkened steel. :) wished it would sit down for a closer look, or a possible photo.
yeah, that's how they distribute. :)

Oh you would love the Humming birds we get in my area - so tiny and they fly like helicopters - going from flower to flower. I know there is a nest somewhere in my yard, been watching and hearing them a lot lately. Nest is made from spider web and flower petals and the eggs are like the size of small beans.
I had one on my finger at one time - poor thing had hit the window and was stunned. I picked it up to keep the dog from getting it. Humming Bird clamped onto my finger with its feet and stayed on for almost an hour - it woke up, looked around and then flew off. I was so glad it was alright - so tiny but with a very strong grasp with the feet.
owch. good to hear it survived, though!
I only picked up a greenfinch once, who had hit a window and got stuck in the big round stones below that made a border between the building's wall and the meadow beside it. poor bird was hanging with wings outstretched and feet in the air. I picked it up and sat it on my hand, but it flew off before I could offer seeds. :)
