This is so interesting to me how she's surrounded with unused daruma, yet one is fully filled.
Clearly, this must be some time, I'd assume late or early in the year, but anywhere before January 3rd (Hatsudashi).
I'm interested in what the words around the circle are, but the writing is a bit hard to make out. This is super interesting tbh!
Protip: Usually Daruma are designed with eyebrows in the shape of two cranes and a beard in the shape of two turdles. Probably a design a bit too detailed for the piece in general, idk the details. But those are usually signs of prosperity and long life!
Overall, I enjoy this piece cause it's interesting in the fact that yes there's a sense of urgency here, but also with a cultural perspective, the whole piece can have an entirely different feel!
