Chapter 2

A few months had past since Yugi and his friends had befriended Namu, and everything seem to be going pretty well for them. But then, one day a rumor about a killer on the loose started to spread around the city. School had just ended, and Yugi was on his way home when he heard a voice say "Hey, Yugi!" Yugi looked behind him to see Namu running up to him, and he said "Oh, hey Namu. What's up?" "I was wondering if you wanna come over to my place, and hang out tomorrow." Yugi smiled, and said "Sure, I'd like that." "Oh, great!" Namu said. "See you then!" He then ran off, and Yugi headed home. The next day, Namu heard a knock on his door. He then went over to answer it, and when he opened it, he found Yugi standing there as he said "Hi!" "Hey, Namu." Yugi said. "I'm glad you asked me to come over. My older brother, Yami has his part-time job, Tea's visiting her aunt, Joey's spending time with his sister, and Tristan's busy with his father." "Well, I'm just glad that you are here." Namu said. "So, do want a glass of lemonade or something?"

Yugi smiled as he nodded and said "Sure, I'd like that." "Great. I'll be right back." Namu said as he went into the kitchen, and started fixing up the lemonade. Then, while Yugi wasn't looking, Namu slipped in a sleeping medicine into the lemonade, and mixed it in. He then walked into the living room, and gave Yugi the glass as he said "Here you go." Yugi took the glass, and said "Thanks." He drank the whole thing down, but then he started to feel tired as he said "What? What's happening?" He then passed out the couch as Namu smirked, and said "Finally. He's all mine." A few hours later. Yugi groaned as he woke up, and said "Where am I? What's going on?!" He tried to move, but he failed as he realized that he was tied up to a chair, and said "Hey! I'm trapped!" "Oh good." A voice said. "You're finally awake." "Who's there?" Yugi said feeling scared. "Show yourself!" The one who brought him to the basement stepped out, and Yugi was shocked to see a guy that looked like Namu, but with platinum blond hair, and purple eyes.

"I guess the medicine I gave you was a bit stronger than I previously thought." The stranger said. "What medicine?" Yugi asked. "Why the medicine I put in the lemonade of course." The stranger said. Yug trembled in fear as he said "You look scared. Does it calm you when I run my hands through your hair?" He gently placed his hand on Yugi's head as he said "It's so soft." Yugi shook his head in a violent manner as he said "Don't touch me!" "No, darling. You're just in shock." The stranger said. "Where's Namu Blishtar?" Yugi asked. "Namu Blishtar?" The stranger asked. "That was a disguise to get me closer to you. Anyway, I haven't explained what was going on." "Who are you?!" Yugi asked. "My name is Marik Ishtar." The stranger said. "Do you recognize me?" "No!" Yugi said. "Well, that's to be expected." Marik said. "It's been five to six months. What matters is now you do. Anyway, I'm the one who knows everything about you. Cause for as I can remember, I've been in love with you." "What?" Yugi asked.

"I know everything about you." Marik said. "Where you live, when your parents get home, when you get home, what you like to do for fun, where you like to go, what your hobbies are, what your favorite food is, even for how long you had the teal colored pajamas. I know everything about you. In fact, I know you better than you know yourself. And there's no one out there who loves you as much as I." "You don't love me!" Yugi said. "You're just confused is all!" "Oh darling. I'm many things, but confused is not one of them." Marik said. "Let me explain. About five or six months ago, you were returning home from school after helping out with the festival they were having that day." Yugi then gasped as he said "Wait. I remember now. You were that guy I saw standing on the edge of the bridge, and preparing to drop to the bottom!"
