Hmm.. I know people are liking smol boy and hating angry one, but given the fact that he is the direct son of the goddess it is quite likely he's been privileged to gain things much easier while others had to work hard.
He might be envious because he has had to work quite hard to get to where they are but when someone can just do as they do because their the son of the goddess.. Well it'll certainly breed resentment and dislike.
Though he could just be a lil prick too, but that last line a bit telling.
