Oh, no! Anger kinda caught Don at just the right point to win him over. I guess one could be accepting of others because one is kind and generous or because one simply has no scruples whatsoever and doesn't care what others do as long as they can be used to advance one's own ends. Anger Mouse is probably more the latter sort, but the desire for acceptance is so strong and Don was so desperate that he didn't bother to distinguish the two and just latched on to Anger anyway. It's really cool how you've given him such understandable motivations!
Hehe, yeah. X3 Anger Mouse doesn't really have any gripes with Don's fetishes, so he doesn't mind teaming up with 'im! Even though, like you said, he'll probably just end up using Don for his own gain. :B

Nicely played! The way in which this was executed definately works wonders for Don by not only granting him a second chance at life, but also a reason for being. Such a life changing event leaves quite a dramatic impression.
Now all that remains is to see what Don does with his second chance. Furthermore, and perhaps more importantly, how Anger Mouse will use Don's unwavering sense of loyalty towards him. Only time will tell.
