Zuri is a kobold rogue character I created for a 5e adventure. She escaped her tribe from the frozen north when the tribe elders planned to gift her to a white dragon as a servant. Zuri survived on the roads outside small towns, stealing food and trinkets from passing merchants. After she learned that a hat she pilfered from a merchant was a magical Hat of Disguise, she used it to get into those small towns to sell her stolen loot for better gear and better food. Eventually she learned about the profession of an adventurer and joined a group that accepted her as a kobold.

She is VERY protective of her party; Zuri takes an insult to a companion as an insult to herself. She struggles with her draconic heritage for greed, knowing that stealing too much is trouble for her party, but catching herself from reaching out to those shiny and valuable gems...
