What a touching conclusion to a most enjoyable and dramatic tale. *Throws sunflower seeds* Bravo!
I had wondered how Messy would come into play after Anger had been torn asunder by Ms. Fuxie. There was a hint in Q&A[/i], but this additional piece really gives closure to what indeed happened after that faithful mission in the sewers.
The best part of this is that, through this most recent tragedy, Don seems to have found himself someone who not only wants to be his friend, but also appears unlikely to take advantage of him for it. Way to go, Don! You hung in there and, like anything else, good fortune has indeed finally smiled upon you.
Finally, is that a spot of foreshadow I detect with the silhouette of Dr. Ama? He appears to be holding something very familiar... Hmm... :)

Good times! :3 *Throws his lab coat*
Yup yup! I like the little sewer trio, even though they don't really have a happy story, at least the two of them there now can be friends, and hope to bring back their missing pal. Even if maybe they'd be better off without him.
And I didn't think much of that part until now, but you're right! He's a much better friend for Don to have, and now that Don's reaching out to him again, maybe he can have someone more stable to be there for him. (:
This letter takes place after the second story with Dr. Ama, Thanks, and the others. So after everything that takes place in that story, knowing what it is he can do with the wand should be a fun extra that'll connect him and Don even more!

I told you I'd straight-up favourite every page of this comic when it was done
I adore Don, seriously I do. I don't know if I would've liked him quite so much if I'd arrived at the start with Q&A where he was just absurd*, but the badger you've established here is practically the embodiment of what makes a sympathetic character for me. I love kinky dudes, and I'm totally fascinated by and understanding of the conflict between a person's perverse underbelly and the need to be seen as respectable by people at large, complete with all the grief and self-issues it causes. Been there myself farrrrr too often. Plus fuck it, I love badgers and I love colourful fetish gear. And yes as stated elsewhere I would totally do him. I mean I would be in like Flynn. You wouldn't even see me move, it would be like there should be a [SCENE MISSING] card in between the not-doing and doing moments
But I'm rambling, as a writer is wont to do. *high fives*
*but then it's happened to me often that I've invented a character who was meant to be as absurd, ridiculous or stupid as I could conceive of and then in fleshing them out they've become incredibly sympathetic

Haha, well I'm glad you liked it enough to do that!
And I understand what ya mean. (: In !&A he's just a minor character, and you don't get to hear much about his story or who he is - just a bit of talking and appearance. I'm really glad I could expand on him! He's definitely got appeal. (: And actually, talking to a friend of mine that told me about how he felt ashamed of his own personal likes at one point, hating himself for it and all, I could completely relate, feeling the same way. So I wanted to make a story based on that. And since I was already planning a little summary for Don Badge's past before the Q&A's final chapter, I ended up mixing the two together, and now I'm really happy I did!

Thanks to your storytelling, we've gotten so attached to Don that it's really a relief to see things start looking up for him again. And I agree that it's a cool way for things to come around for Don again that he's got a friend now who seems to accept him for who he is. It's sounds like both he and Don have been looking for a friend, only sorta finding one in Anger, and then losing Anger, but now they have each other. Also, aww, it's perfect that Messy comes bearing a heart. :D And Don gets to be hopeful for getting all his other friends back again too! So yay, what a great ending!
Even though losing people might make ya never want to put yourself in potential trouble again, it feels too good having someone around to keep thinking that way. And luckily this time, Dr. Ama and Messy both seem pretty okay! (: I'm glad you could follow the story, and point out so many neat things as it went along. X3 It was a lot easier to keep working knowing others liked it too! :3 Good times!
It's super fun story! It was great looking carefully at it and seeing how complex and interesting you made the plot. And I like what you point out here about it feeling too good for Don to keep away from people indefinitely, despite what he might say.
Anyway, I hope everything's going all right for you, Nishi! *hugs*
