Sorry this took longer to upload today. It's nice to see her boss is concerned his employee might be hungry. :D
One page away from 300. not too shabby. We should get some cake huh.

Is it just me then that tmhe seems to be stepping way out of bounds with that? Like it's already bad enough that hes using this as blackmail, ruining it for her almost altogether, and now he's got to do this at their place of work? That's not only creepy, hes going to ruin this for her even further. The sheer amount of cringe I have in that last panel made me shudder.
Hnmmmnnnnngggghhhh this would be hitting SO many buttons if it was consentual.
But it's just... Amazing. You really did a amazing job. It wasn't too far back in the comic that I was watching Manda doing the exact same thing with Star along with Lure, and reading it put so many butterflies in my tummy and further helped me awake to my little side.
Now, with that exact same situation, you are able to turn those floaty butterflies in my tummy into a brick of lead in my gut. It's a horrid feeling like walking to the principals office in school after being caught doing something bad... And I LOVE it. It really really REALLY does bring to light the importance behind consent, and the difference between indulging in a kink or lifestyle because BOTH parties want to, versus doing it to someone because YOU want to regardless of how THEY feel.
I know it'll all work out, but it still has me right on the edge of my seat in a swirling mix of fear for her well being, anticipation for how far it could go, and desire to see her come out on top. Thank you for this amazing ride, and I can't wait to see how it all shakes out!

The expression in that fifth panel actually looks genuinely caring. I'm actually wondering now if this will turn out to be a beneficial relationship for them both. Either way that elephant is adorable and I want one <3 thank you so much for continuing to make this comic, every page makes me super eager for the next one <3
It's a shame he's doing it this way...had he simply tried addressing her like a person the normal way...and not done this while at work there is a chance she might have gone along with it. She'd certainly be struggling not to indulge if her stress levels weren't dialed up to 11 I think.
It could be so awkward going back to her desk later. Into the CO's office first thing when she comes in, immediately running out for an irregular errand, and I doubt she usually takes her lunch break with him in his office. Hope her colleagues aren't the prying type, or that she's able to come up with a believable excuse.
And that's why I have a fear for masses.
All those comments... "he needs to be punished" "end his career, end his life" "kick him in the teeth"..
God I am glad y'all are a faceless mass, but imagination someone, even when he did something wrong, circled by a mob of people chanting the same you all do, demanding to hurt the delinquent.. That is what truly makes me fear society sometimes.

I see this going a few ways, none of Wich are how it is going to go. I love the interesting feeling of the writing here. It makes you uncomfortable, but kind of hopeful. He's not being a complete asshole, but what he is doing is wrong. I have to say you are officially a seasoned writer now XD not a ton of books can pull that off.
Point is, a few people seem to get way into the story, and that's the same way many people talked about jeoffrey baratheon- and whilst it is okay to let off some steam about the character, they transport this exact emotion towards the characters owner/ the one impersonating it/ etc.
And while it is despicable what Marellis (the character) does, it wouldn't justify a group of others attacking him either if he were real.
I am a fan of justice. But it has to be done right, and he ain't no supervillain. If any, I would like to see him charged for misusing his position. I want him being charged and eventually committed, not being punched up by some vigilante

The more I think about the character the less I think he is outright trying to be an asshole (don't get me wrong, he is still totally a dick for ignoring the feelings of others) and more of using this as an excuse to live out his own fetish of basically power tripping as a "daddy". The fact it is non-consensual is what make it so wrong but as sad as it may be I have a feeling a lot of people on FA would do what he is doing if given a chance and play it off as "oh the other people wanted this and will enjoy it, they just don't know it yet so it is fine" mental thinking.
The more I see this story line go the more I think this is all staged in an effort for Star to have some of her barriers taken down. We all know she is submissive, and I do not think she is in any danger. Everything up to now has still been pretty tame and even with people in her corner she is not calling them.
Either way, very good part of the story. Very well done:)

I feel like he isnt going to use it as blackmail and is more a scare tactic to trick her into being more respectful in the work place I mean I Iove Star but she is a bit of a loose cannon and bad about time she also seems to be pressing his buttons alot with her father's influence on her career that he feels she doesn't deserve that or he is a dick

Even for a story, keep that a bit down. There are a few of you who are overly protective for star, which is okay but not necessary at all. And marellis' Maker reads the stuff too, comments and reacts. Please keep it decent, thanks

yeah it can get a little intense sometimes. I dont think stormy has been actually harrassed as a person yet from what he's told me so people are at least being a bit more...errrr reality aware??? Than they were with my previous comic where folk starting being mean to the person behind one of the antagonists LOL people just get a bit wrapped up in the story
My thoughts exactly!
I think that the reason people are so emotional about this is because Star (the character) is a very likable person. People have been reading and following her story for around five years at this point (2017 in my case), and have grown to know her like a friend, and people generally do get at least a little distressed at seeing a friend in a bad or dangerous situation (I remember what happened in "Found" when Gem got pushed down). This is a side effect of having a character that everyone likes and becomes attached to. I call this the "Misery Effect" (after the novel by author Stephen King). There is a similar situation to yours playing itself out over on Arh's page with her (VERY nsfw) comic "HNT". So much so that she posted this to clear up any misconceptions: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36174585/
Conversely, a character that is decidedly unlikable can make the readers actually want to see them suffer. Marellis is a good example, of course, but I can't help but think of PaddedUlf's character "Emily". That girl is SUCH a friggin' brat! The more you get to know her, the more you want to watch her squirm.

BTW, just like in "Found", the art style of "Emily" changes a lot over time. It's interesting to watch.

Gosh maybe I should do a PSA of some kind too. It was never my intention to distress people or anything like that I didn't realise arhn was going thru the same things I've been so focused of drawing my own comic that I haven't really been reading any as a result (apart from kammys and Pandora's) I love that people are invested but I want to entertain not distress the readers and we'll....I'm still sticking to the original plotline I wrote years ago so this story arc has a very specific resolution which I hope will satisfy people but yeah maybe I do need to make a few things clearer
I do think he has far more to lose here than she does. I mean if it comes to light he is blackmailing her like that he could face some severe consequences. For Star though it really doesn't matter. She isn't really bringing her kittenhood into work.
Though that could be part of his plan. That he is trying to force her to do these things during work so that he can pin it on her. After all he is undermining her effectiveness as an employee right now.
What Star should do above all right now is keep very careful notes on what he's doing to her. That when it comes to a head she can recall everything with clear detail.

I got this weird vibe after she arrived at the shop and met the shop girl, that she knows Marellis. The pink Elephant added in, was a kind of message to Marellis.
I swear I cannot get it out of my mind that shop girl might be in some way Marellis's little.
The common scenarios here have two paths that are common:
1. Marellis is using this as a way to help her, but sucks at it,
or
2. Marellis is using this to dominate her way beyond anything consensual.
I postulate my idea that shop girl and Marrllis have a vey different relationship personally, to what end now that Star has entered the scene here im not sure, but I will place bets that theres a different dynamic at play here than most of us are thinking.
Weird afterthought.. Is a pink elephant Marellis's Bob?
And as I fall, is there a bottom to this rabbit hole?
