Yesterday around 4:30 PM we laid our 14 year old Black Labrador to rest.
She was not feeling well for months prior, her health slowly fading. But she fought to stay with us for a bit longer.

My deepest condolences, Ilka dear heart,t o you and your family. Loss of a beloved pet is no less traumatizing than the loss of a beloved person, I know from first hand experience, and the fact it could be seen coming cold comfort to that pain. May she rest well and in peace.
