Hookay, after another hectic work-week, back to uploading again, haha! This was another daily sketch that I ended up turning into a fully finished piece, simply because I liked how it came out!
It's a Long-tailed Meadowlark, singing loud in front of the dawn-time sky, painted pink by the setting Sun! Sometimes I like to take a break from more complex ideas, and just work on pieces like this! Could consider them IRL bird slice-of-life drawings!
The next project is going to be something a little more complex! Hoping to finish it up by the end of this weekend, latest! ;)

Oooh, I really like that!
I never heard a Meadowlark sing, we don't have those here where I live, but we've got lots of Skylarks instead, there is literal hundreds of them just outside my house!
Beautiful picture, really love how the bird is holding it's feathers, like it's tuning it's voice, that's awesome :D
