Pirate AU
Stowaway! It seems like the twins got themselves some unexpected cargo aboard their ship!
In this AU, Vyrn lives in an orphanage, after his mother passed away and his father - a Royal Navy admiral - disappeared in a mission. His mind was full of dreams of ruling the seven seas, but he knew he could never join the Royal Navy, being just a poor orphan. His mind then turned to piracy!
The perfect opportunity came when a pirate ship attacked the port city in which he lived. In the chaos of the attack, this little fox sneaked into the pirates’ ship and hid in a barrel!
The next day, the twins noticed a very strange thing: one of their barrels was moving. When they opened it… surprise!
At first, the twins wanted to drop him in the closest port they can find, as they wouldn’t be able to gangplank a child (even if Indrys WANTED TO after Vyrn said she and her brother smelled like the dirtiest pigsty), but the boy showed he could be useful. He taught the twins how to read and write, and helped them understand the maps.
Eventually, they started to see him as their own son.
But what would happen if his believed-to-be-dead father returned? And thought these filthy pirates not only attacked his city and killed his wife, but also kidnapped his only son…?
