A little...but a theory I heard about, about the whole movie being about a descendant rather than THE Artemis from the books makes me feel a little better....

What people don't seem to get is that, as far as a book-to-movie goes....DO NOT CHANGE THINGS. Just to SEE the characters express themselves in a scene with emotion or action is enough. Like when you're reading about that 'underground city', you'd be like 'I wonder what that would look like'....well movies can DO that for you! You don't have to change it to being something in the sky just to give people something 'different'.
You don't have to be 'different' or conform to 'real life situations'....just do the book justice by giving it a visual representation without messing with it. Simple, honest, and with integrity.
