“Can I read the sign now?” Duke asked Hearts from the couch.
The lion took his time setting up to take the picture. “Not until I take it.”
Duke sighed, smiling softly, then he heard the shutter click.
Hearts sat back, starting to edit the picture on his phone as Duke turned the sign around.
“What? Throw you in the pool? I barely ever do that,” the panda said with a soft laugh.
“Not true.” Hearts looked up. “You do it all the time.”
“Oh yeah?” Duke raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah.” Hearts set his phone on the floor as Duke walked up to him.
Duke scooped Hearts up by his knees, holding him upside down. “Oh yeah?” He repeated, louder.
“Yeah,” Hearts said, giggling as Duke swung him around.
Duke held onto Hearts’s legs with one arm as he reached the other down the lion’s sweater, pulling it off and letting it fall to the floor.
“What are you doing?” Hearts asked, still laughing.
Duke pulled the lion up so they were face to face. “We’re going swimming.”
“No, no no!” Hearts squealed, laughing as Duke carried him outside to the pool.
~end of part 2~
Just a funny story idea I had based on pet shaming photos. Keep an eye out for the colored version of Part 2. Posting order will be Uncolored Part 1, Colored Part 1, Uncolored Part 2, and Colored Part 2.
