It's been a couple years after the NILS Crisis was stamped out by Agent 8 and Off the Hook duo Pearl and Marina. Seeing that human statue get obliterated by a heavily weaponized voice, probably the loudest booyah to ever hit my ears! But coming back to it, with this empty arena void of all the ink those young squid and octo kids sling at each-other mercilessly, we anchored down for a bit and came to look at poor ol' Hermes and... remember what makes us Homo Sapiens so... belligerent and cruel to eachother and other lifeforms.

Sallen is right, what if Mother Earth never gave birth to her most destructive life? That is a question human philosophers of today, out in the far vast oceans on tiny island micronations, ponder and think on. I mean, we humans gave rise to all those colorful aquatic creatures, be it good or bad, as the Inkling, Octoling, and more importantly, Salmonid races. All have been a product of a mass extinction which only sees around a couple million humans left in the world... im amazed for how long we've all held on, we're just that stubborn, eh?

But as far as im concerned, Agent 8 clearly dammed that weaponized statue, and all it's nefarious designs, all to Hell. Like in that one famous movie from long LONG ago, nobody recalls it's name, but that line is clearly fitting for a scene such as this.

A quickie of a comic done to help develop a fanon world of Splatoon lore-wise, it was born froma conversation i had with a mod creator for Garry's Mod and it sparked some pretty amazing ideas we both liked, i dunno if he'll make such a thing come true, but i have high hopes in him that it'll be grand to as much as he can make.
