I do have a story to go with this, but I’m waiting for Darknight Memoires to be released to solidify it down. However, W has captured my heart nearly completely.
1) She looks like Soppo and Soppo is toppo
2) From what I’ve read via the (translated) DK Memoires story, I can really connect.
Would these two even get along in lore?
Sort of. Both are social chameleons by need and not by nature. Sarkaz are hated as a species, which – to some extent – Pyre can understand.
They’d likely have arguments over truth vs ideals. W is willing to do anything to make her dreams come true, no matter the cost. Pyre concentrates harder on the path to those dreams; limiting destruction where possible, but allowing and encouraging it when necessary.
W’s choice to join Reunion (as Pyre would believe, due to limited information given) would cause them to part ways until their personal reunion at Rhode’s Island. No hatred involved – Pyre agrees with Reunion on most of their points, but doesn’t have the stomach to commit those sort of war crimes. Well. On the living, at least.
Its also fun to think they combo well, considering W is an explosives expert and Pyre is definitely explosive in several ways. An open flame with plenty of fuel being given some true direction causes some fun lethality.
