I've been doing dance animations for my job and being a non dancer I had to design my own moves to animate. And I just sketched this out to try my hand on one of my characters move. Figure you would too. hopefully.

Nice! very active and quick spin move. two things came to mind as I watched this. 1) Don't forget when she tucks in at the top of the jump, her rate of rotation would increase quite a bit. 2) I hope those are wireless headphones, or she just wrapped herself up in the cord!
Looks like a fun project. What kind of dance style are you going for in your project?

I only have limited control with the speed since it's animated on photoshop. ^^;
It's not that fun of a project actually. My team and I had to really mull over a lot since we were given so many restrictions on costume design and type of moves. and for all we know, all our hard work can be nixed because of any stupid reason.

Awesome animation, J3T. =3 It's nice to know other artists are branching off into the animated field of Visual Art as well. I'm getting an Associate's Degree in Digital Animation in a couple of years, so hopefully I'll have some of my own work up soon (as soon as I start my classes in the fall [I hope..], I'll be uploading my 'homework' for viewing). And I know how you feel about projects getting nixed. It sucks major hairy monkey nuggets when that happens. ALLLLLLLLL that work, and they have the nerve to say "Thanks, but we've gone with another design." :/
