If Shani is the heart of the Keen Marquis' servants, then Arda is the muscle, overpowering even Tanvir. Arda knows what she wants and pushes herself to get it, but it has landed her in dire circumstances. Hailing from the Carvecian colonies, she grew up wanting to sail the seas, but being a woman in a world led by sexist superstitions, she would never land herself a job on a ship's crew. Instead, she disguised herself as a man and signed on with a crew as a topman, hoping the physical distance would lessen the captain's suspicions. Unfortunately, she was discovered and abandoned on the Shanivaar. Left with not even a coin to her name, she was forced to sign a contract with the Basu clan to survive, and thus led to her placement in the Keen Marquis. While she is intimidating, she does care for those she works with and uses her bulk to scare off those too drunk on cheap wine and ale to take the hint.Red Lantern belongs to  Rukis
