Sep 25, 2042, Day 5-

So it turns out that there definitely is something to be concerned over regarding that sore area over my ass. Woke up today and noticed that at the top of the crack there’s a little bump. It isn’t very big and it looks as normal as you can expect a sudden lump to look like. But it definitely wasn’t there last week and it is very hard to the touch. In fact when I try to push hard against it it almost feels like there is a bit of bone present.

At work Dave expressed concern again, saying that I clearly don’t look like I’m okay. That I have started to develop bags under my eyes and have clearly lost an unhealthy amount of weight in such a short amount of time and advised that at the very least I go to see a doctor over it.

When I talked with Sam he did agree. Not so much on the losing weight thing but that I should definitely go see a doctor because it isn’t normal to be feeling tired or drinking as much as I have for as long as I have, especially since he’s heard stories. I told him about the lump and he says that that’s another reason to see a doctor, that hopefully it’s just an abscess or a benign cist and not something more serious, like becoming one of those freaks.
