I will be getting an artificial leg, but at the moment. it' not a matter of laid up. this is how it is for me now. amputations suck.

Ouch! Well I hope you get good guidance from the doctors on how to live with it. Life isn't over, but it's a monumental change. I often think events like the Paralympics show plenty of glory, but not the pain that comes before it.
