I would lay me down, but I do not wish to get wet.
The track visible on the left of this picture does indeed lead down to the river, where there is a surface for cars to drive across. Naturally, this road is intended for use when the flow of the river is much calmer, so I can only hope that there’s a way for those living on the other side to make it across, should they need to. Either that, or whatever vehicle they own is built to drive through torrents of water.
