My very first fanfic, as well as my first story that doesn't include Anthro characters (not a knock against the fan-art of Fire Emblem: Three Houses that I've seen on here, though; for how little there is, it's really good!). I was hoping to upload this yesterday since that was the game's one-year anniversary, but I only managed to do it on DA before getting too tired. But hey, better late than never!

For those who haven't played the game yet, this story's premise is simple: It's a re-telling of the S-Rank Support Conversation between Byleth, the character you play as in the game, and Dimitri, the house leader of The Blue Lions. Seeing as that's my favorite of the Three Houses, as well as how much I love Dimitri as a character, it's only fair I make the first fanfic be about him; and to have this ship him and Byleth together makes this so much better! However, due to the S-Rank Supports only being viewable at the very end of the game, I feel it only necessary to say this: Huge spoilers for the game will be mentioned in this story! If you don't want the game spoiled, I highly recommend completing The Blue Lions route of the game before reading this, first!

Of course, to give this story a bit more originality to it, I added in a few differences compared to the actual Support Conversation you hear in-game. From having Byleth speak more and adding more dialogue to the conversation, to the ring Dimitri gives him compared to the default ring he gives, instead. I also used the Male version of Byleth for this story instead of the Female version; partially because I wanna practice writing gay male couples, and partially because I kinda wanna give Dimitri a chance to be in a gay romance with Byleth seeing as he can't develop an S-Rank Support with a Byleth of the same gender even though The Black Eagle's Edelgard can! Nothing against the normal straight version of this couple, though; I love that version just as much! :D
