8 3/4" x 14" color pencil
Crappy photo but I will try and repost something with better lighting tomorrow.
This leggy lady is quite tall on paper too and measures 12 1/4" tall.
Stepping through a portal from a time gone by, the young priestess along with her equally young companion, enter a new world and unwittingly unleashes a tsunami of change.
This piece will be going up for auction Saturday, August 1
I will have a better post by then, just needs better photographic lighting. I am quite pleased with this piece.
I also just finished my second to last long overdue commission and will post it this weekend and also get started on the last commission in my queue. :)
Critique always welcome.

She's absolutely beautiful but, ever since I first heard of them, I always thought the maned wolf was a beautiful animal. "A fox on stilts" as the saying goes and I do love foxes.
Leggy is an apt description of her. As my grandfather would say, "She'll never get appendicitis because she's split above where you get it." As for Quetzalcoatl, I always pictured him as being bigger for some reason.

Ah, hatchling Quetzalcoatl. NOW, it makes sense. Now, that begs another question. Is this Quetzalcoatl one of a race of flying, feathered serpents or is he similar to the Phoenix in that he dies and is reborn? I like knowing about mythological beings. Oh! And your answer doesn't have to be the absolute truth, just your truth. In other words, this is your world and universe therefore, what you say about it is the truth.
WOW!
This is amazing! I like the use of warm earth tones on this piece. You can even see the individual pencil strokes that make up the fur. I also like the composition as a whole. It brings to mind the artwork of Goldenwolf and DarkNatasha. Art of this style and quality was one of the main things that drew me to the furry fandom in the first place.
A true masterpiece!
