Because Ebony's luck with falling into weird traps and sticky situations just doesn't seem to let up. How else could you explain the fact that in order to stay out of sight, she had to take a 'back path' that ended up with her wading through a deep pool of honey? A rather deep one too, given how she's wading while trying to keep herself clear of the worst of it. Sure, it slides off the sheen of her suit, and she can soften it up with her particular flavour of magic.

But it just gets heavier and thicker the further she wades in, the deeper she sinks in, forcing her to expend more energy to keep pushing forward. The fact it's probably seeping through the edges of her suit and soaking her fur with goopy, clingy honey is just another problem... or a bonus, depending on your opinion.

Hers is pretty much "not this sort of thing AGAIN."
