I started this piece a bit more than 6 years ago then set it aside when I got to the background. I have issues when doing backgrounds as I have a tendency to get overly detailed in my minds eye. I hate doing backgrounds so I kinda freaked and set a piece aside after the character was done. I have finally gotten over the BG thing...sort of... and have been finishing up oldies but goodies and this is the latest of 3 in the last month. Hell, I don't think I did 3 all last year!
Anyway, this was a companion piece to "Overlook", https://www.furaffinity.net/view/15689630/ , which I completed and sold way back when and was inspired by a story I started about the same time.
I will be posting this piece this afternoon as as AUCTION XIII if anyone here is interested in purchasing her.

Ha! In the story, late one night, a guard tried to get close enough to whisper to her that he wished to help her escape but before he got his message across, he took a claw across the cheek which drew blood.
He did not back away though and just turned the other cheek toward her and continued voicing his intensions till she understood his sincerity.

I always thought the background was going to end up like a tent or encampment scene. But this is stunningly gorgeous! All of the colors feel very vibrant, and the textures are perfect. Her fur and the pelt look soft. You should feel proud of yourself for the past months accomplishments. It's been a real treat to see!

This is a scene from a story I had outlined and had started. She is a captive of a collector of females from distant and exotic tribes, (species), and she is in her display nook. No bars to get in the way of the view, just chains.
Like I mentioned about backgrounds, my vision of the scene kinda messed with me and I set it aside for a while...
Gonna be finishing up a couple other pieces soon. One is a wolf sketch done for you as I recall.

Her face looks a bit like a Tibetan fox (http://web.pdx.edu/~corey8/c-vasque.....betan_fox.html) only not quite so square.
I may not be able to tame her but, I believe I could get her to eat from my hand . . . eventually and if I have one left by then.
