Yeah that place definitely gives a "stalker shrine" kind of vibe, but it'd be even worse if that Mimikyu were anything like Jessie's; not only having a murderous psychopathic hatred towards all Pikachu but dressing itself up as (and in this case surrounding itself by) the thing it hates most.

Well, according to some of the Pokedex entries since Sun and Moon, there's a lot of dark stuff for some of these Pokemon...like that sand castle looking one that's base is filled with the bones of those it sucked in or something like that. I mean...wow...for an "everyone" sort of game, those nuggets of what-the-fudge is kind of surprising from Nintendo.

Oh yeah, that too. On a related note to that there's a kid in Ultra Moon who tries to show you a sand castle he made, which is then revealed to be a sandygast that attacks you; after defeating or capturing it the kid complains about not being able to steal your life force but that there's plenty other prey on the beach before leaving..
