I now has this up for sale on Furbuy, with bids starting at $40. :3
Picture is on 11x14 inch Bristol board (100lb), drawn with Micron Inks, colored with Prismacolor markers, watercolors, acrylics, watercolor pencils and gel pens.
Another big pic. I'm a little unhappy with how the BG came out.. but alas.. that is why i need practice! ><

Oh, nice. For a start, I like that she's an anthro kangaroo that actually looks like a kangaroo! They're such neat animals it's a shame that so many people get them so wrong. I like, too, that you were able to both keep the heavy claws, and still make them look kind of elegant. And I love her clothes. This, and some of your other recent pictures kind of makes me wish that you drew clothing more often. Not that your nudes aren't lovely, but you have a nice flare for design.
As for the background, the dance floor does look a little bit off, but I don't think it's too bad. And the rest of it is actually quite nice. The big cluster of balloons is pretty neat.
Now I wish I could dance.

This looks really nice! I like the dynamic pose, and the colors are really pretty and vibrant!
Regarding the background, there is one suggestion I could make (for future pieces)... for the perspective on the dance floor, the vanishing points should be a lot further apart to minimize distortion... (i tape pieces of paper to the sides of my pieces that use 2 pt. perspective, and extend the horizon line out onto those pieces for my vanishing points..)

Yeah i didn't even think about it until after i inked. >< Currently i work on my bristol board leaned up against my little comp desk since the dining room is being worked on.. I'll just have to set aside my perspective stuff until it is finished most likely.. as there are no free tables in the house to do things larger than the bristol board itself. But I agree.. too much distortion, better luck next time if I remember in pencil first. ^.^
I also think i made the BG itself far to vibrant and it takes away from the character.. always learning. >.>
Thanks for the advice! <3

Room to work on perspective is always a pain XD My desk is sometimes not big enough.
Always learning and trying new things is good. I keep trying to push myself to try new things, and figure out how to improve...
I'm really liking these detailed pieces! Not enough artists work in traditional media, in my opinion...

I like doing both. And I'm sure you understand, selling traditional work seems easier, since buyers like to be the only one with it. ^.^ I'm hopin we will finish up the dining room and then the basement, in which case i can get a big art desk.. and start working with messy supplies again on the tile floor. XD I plan to do more for sure though, it feel far more rewarding to complete a full piece. Plus, i need to start setting up stuff for AC to save up enough money for a hotel. >< work work
