so weird to me when people draw art of Amaterasu, and have never played the game! XD not a bad thing of course, just weird! She's lovely though, you did a fantastic job! The game is so relaxing, I love playing it. :D

I own the game, and have beaten it...and in every single frame of animation, her eyes are solid black brush-strokes (Like most of the other characters)

Having said that, it's refreshing to see a piece of art where the eyes are given special detail. It gives her a bit more personality.

thanks very much, yes my sister pointed that out before i finished her eyes, but I just couldnt bear not to give her detailed eyes xD It would feel empty, having said that thanks for pointing it out too :D

Not only is the art breathtaking, but the story is deeply steeped in Japanese folklore and mythology (Accurately told, I might add), and the music is some of the most breathtaking traditional flute-work I've heard in years.

Ive been meaning to play it for a while but got caught up on other must play games, but it is definitely a must play game thats for sure :)

This game is so good, I heard Clover shut down shortly after the game was finished.

The way I heard it, it wasn't because the game was bad...but exactly the opposite. The game was too good. It was their masterpiece, and they can't put out anything that'll ever top it. "This is it, boys, the best of the best we can offer. We've achieved it. Better quit while we're FAR ahead of the crowd."

and with the wii port doing just as good as the original, turns out capcom is intending to hit the ds with a sequel.
