Also as a content creator I can tell you If Marellis delibrately recorded star without her consent (which we know he did) he could actually be charged under UK law.
Even without UK law involved If Star or Martin went to Marellis' C.O. (commanding officer) he would be brought up on displinary charges at the very least or at worst be court marshalled and dishonorably discharged. The military does not take harrassment lightly.

Knowing that Marellis could be court marshalled and that he'll finally get what's coming to him is the type of thing that would make me start following this comic again. I so deeply despise blackmail that I had stopped reading this comic. Catching a glimpse of Martin's face in the last panel is what caught my attention and made me curious to see what was happening with this comic. I may just go back now and read over what has been happening since I had stopped following this comic.

I don't think it'll happen in Shine but those would be the real world consequences.
This comic is just too good to stop reading in my opinion and, the fact it can hit a nerve just shows how good of a story it is. As well as how engaging the cast are.

It is more than just hitting a nerve. It is outright nauseating. I've come across stories where the blackmailer actually gets away with it that I ended up wishing I never read the story. Hopefully, that is not the case here.

My original blackmailer in RL (which is sorta what this whole part of Shine is loosly based on) DID get away with it. Sometimes life is a proper bitch and the bad guys win. There isn't always a happy ending. Needless to say I've always used Shine as a sort of...therapy session for myself and use to it resolve past experiences that cant really be fixed in real life..So I'm fairly certain Marellis wont be walking away scot free like the RL dude did.

You're a talented story teller to begin with, but the fact that Shine is somewhat autobiographical is what's always made it feel so organic, makes the characters feel genuinely empathic, and the situations relatable.

Not gonna lie, it's really REALLY not been easy at points. I've genuinely cried myself to sleep at points as I hadn't expected drawing some of the pages out to effect me as much as they did...I'm glad I'm doing this but it's certainly been a rollercoaster of emotions for me and some of its been a LOT harder than I imagined

I have looked up information on gatherings of people into the "stuff" Star is into and learned shortly (by observation of rules in this category) that film/photography is prohibited for public safety of all included. Marellis crossed that line and likely will become a pariah.

I'm not into ABLD stuff, but stuff i read on literotica got me curious. So while looking i saw some stuff(and I'm a sub and I love losing control.
