This illustration started out as multiple studies of photos which I didn't like from the start so I erased everything and did a thumbnail (you can find the process pics on my ArtStation) of this piece which I really liked suddenly xD I also tried out photobashing for the second time (and probably a bit better and more stealthy this time lol) to add some interest in the mid and background. Through the process I changed the wolf to my wolf OC Malcress which fitted the atmosphere better. And of course, sunsets and castles are something that I use in almost every single painting I do haha :D
