Sooooooooo for a few errr... Months now I been contemplating trying to write a sea story with the shark girls I draw being the crew of an old patched up warship they manage to somehow sail across the treacherous oceans of my setting..... Seriously pirates and sea monster's are out to kill ye and don't get me started on the Whale Mafia....
That last part was a joke but hmm could be fun to include in a story ^.-.^;
Anyway onto the panels.
1. Just a random Anthro Shark being cute while leaning on the blast plating surrounding the bridge.
2. A zoomed out view of the same picture as panel one, this time showing the amidship armoured missile launchers, someone randomly lazing about on top of said missile platform and the aft CIWS system.... Yar they lazer turrets which is actually something being used today in the American Navy.
3. Another view of amidship (middle), the circle with the 'X' is where the CIWS turret goes, debating raising the platform for it slightly. Also got one of the close in defense M2 .50cal in the picture as well as the ships engine funnels for the Diesel Engines.
4. Front view of the bow/keel of the Missile Boat. Few little details all crammed in there.
5. Cant remember what these are called but they are electric engines that pop out of the hull, there main purpose is typically for ships maneuvering in harbors.
6. Aft end view of the ship's mission bay. The armoured shutter's roll upward allowing the crew to simply dive into the water or deploy inflatable rafts. Above this I'll be mounting a 25mm Bushmaster... Unsure if I should have two of these in separate mounts or have them both combines into a single turret like structure.
7. Experimenting with background shots of the ships bridge.
Now some small stats for people to enjoy.
Length: 61 meters
Width: 5 meters
Tonnage: 305
Armour: Foam Steal
Crew: 15-42
Range: Indefinite due to Miniature plasma reactor.
Armament:
76mm OtoBreda Auto Cannon.
(2) Armoured Box Launch system containing 4 Harpoon or 16 Sea Sparrow Missiles.
(2) 25mm Bushmaster chainguns
(2) Direct Thermal Weaponry CIWS (Close In Weapon System)
(2) M2 Browning .50cals
(4) Three barrel decoy/mortar launchers.
All of these are based on real weapons and the ship is actually based on the Hayabusa Class Patrol Boat.
