Story writing test
No smut here.

Important things first. This is not a complete story. It's just a small first step, a test, to get an idea of how much time and effort I need to put into writing and to see if it works at all. I am not a native English speaker. I have no writing skills or experience with anything like that. This means that those 1660 words took more time than I expected. The fact that it's not fan-fiction with an already established world with familiar characters makes it even more difficult and forces me to build something from scratch. Please consider this an early prototype / work in progress. If you've already come across my original characters, Alani Redum and his future girlfriend, Bunny, this will give you an idea of what I want to do. In the following two short chapters, I will demonstrate my writing skills, my storytelling style, and my plans how to introduce you into this fictional world I am working on. If you like it, if it doesn't turn out to be a grammatical mass accident, and if I don't lose my creative energy, I'll move on. Otherwise, I just keep drawing my pictures and leave the writing to those who can do it better :) Thanks in advance for your five minutes of reading time.

Make sure to keep multiple documents that you can quickly reference for your world's rules and small details, oh and don't be afraid to write side stories that help you get in the mindset of your characters or elucidate their goals and pains.
It's easy to forget these things, and it'll help keep you on track.
I like the liberties you took with the PDF format, detailing your stuff with additional pictures. Don't worry about your English.

Thank you for your comment. This is a good idea. Actually I use a mind map for it. My original thought was to use an interactive PDF, but I don't have the time to invest in HTML5 programming. Developing the Story is effort enough. Build in a few illustrations this way should do it.
Everything was great and very easy to understand! Yes as you said, it was short, but was very fun reading!
Yes how other people have said their are some grammar things but you still did a fantastic job here.
Just a question, when the team was walking through the tall grass, was that some kind of reference to Jurassic Park: The Lost World?

I think this Tall Grass thing is a cool idea in general. Of course, I'm inspired by the book and movies. Difference is, professionals can deal with it 😉
