Ah, small touches and fleeting glances, the things that kindle embers into flame.
Love panel 4. The background characters jump out and the way their heads are aligned next to Ulfric draws the eye in a Z down to Iona. Nicely done.

Ah, I recognize these two ladies...somehow...
And of course Ulfric interjects. I'm wondering if Unblooded refers to Iona, or those who haven't fought for him... Fun stuff!

Poor man is DESPERATELY trying to find a way to have her in his life as more than a trusted soldier or even friend. He's testing the waters with much of this, so to speak.
So much of comic storytelling is scene setup...it's not unlike storyboarding for a film. So I'm glad I'm getting some of it right at least.

The two ladies belong to Chaser. You've seen them in my stuff before, I'm sure! I love including friends' characters in things if they are comfy with it.
Unblooded is an honorific you earn from passing the test to join the Stormcloaks. He's calling her that because he knows if he's overly familiar with her in mixed company, it looks "bad" for lack of a better word.

And it's adorable. We love watching people wrestle with the mystical, mysterious feeling of love when they haven't really felt it before.
