Continuing my 'BBS' series, I have an illustration drawn for me in 1999, when the furry convention "AnthroCon" was being held in Valley Forge, PA.
It was there that I had the first opportunity to meet international anthroartist
Karno of Iceland. And it was at "AC" that the nearly seven-foot-tall artist let me know of his presence... by picking me up and spinning me around like a test tube in a centrifuge!
I was first acquainted with Karno's artwork (during the 1990s) in the 'funny animal' APAzine "Rowrbrazzle", as well as in some of his independently-produced publications (such as "Karno's Funnies"). We became good friends via 'snail-mail' correspondence (and E-mail messages, later on).
One of the treasured possessions he'd sent me was a handmade statuette of one of Karno's popular characters, 'Savage Squirrel' (which is still standing on a shelf in the living room of my condo). So, naturally, when I'd offered him the chance to draw something in my big black sketchbook during "AC", he drew the gun-toting squirrel expressly for me.
You can see more of Karno's talents in his own "Fur Affinity" site - baring in mind that some of his works are in the 'mature' and 'adult' categories...
