A great many interests come to light when one lives surrounded by tomes from past, present, and future. Clockwork being a hobby for practicality and as a way to keep me dexterous. I've got a veritable army of little clockwork spiders to keep hidden and tidy up my library when nobody is looking. Magic and clockwork work wonderfully together, making enchanting devices much easier than with modern technology. Though that delves into magitech. A topic for another time.
Here, I'm repairing a haywire clock that was causing people to age dramatically. Even I aged a little working on this piece. An easy fix for myself afterward.
