These works really really remind me of the bond between Saphira and Eragon in the Inheritance Cycle

i must read these books, sadly all i hear they are not so good ;_; my story is very, very slice of lifey comparing to it

I liked the Inheritance Cycle when I read it a lot, but the books are definitely not perfect. Though, I did think they were a lot better than the movie.

There are some exceptions, but yeah, they usually are.

Yeah. The one book I read that was almost word for word and action for action the same as the movie was "The Princess Bride". I've seen a few, VERY few, others that were pretty close to the books.

I would also suggest Temeraire. Although there the bond is different because of male dragon and rider (nothing romantical).

You can notice a significant drop in quality in the last book, giving impression that was a rush job to get the series done. That feeling was implified by the poorly written romance thread between Arya and Eragon, and by the fact Saphira became a warhorse (she barerly have anything to say there) However, I agree, your picure give a strong Eragon and Saphira vibe back when their bond was written so well.

Your arts of Uther and Smonia already have more personality than the relationships in that book series tbh they were stiff and very plot-driven without much emotion or slice of life which is what makes the art of your characters so compelling to me tbh. It shows them living an actual life instead of "I'll do what the plot wants me to and no more."
