Here’s my new OC, Reiji.
He’s one of the guitarists I created for a music group, the “Shirokuro” band. ^^ (In english: “Black and white” ) I’ll do the other members of this group later, for the moment I was more inspired to do Reiji because he’s one of my favourites. X3 Don’t know why but he makes me think about a pilot or something like that. lol
I hated to do the city. XD The buildings and the lights were a real challenge. It isn’t a realistic pic in this point but I don’t really care ‘cause it’s much better than the other trials I had made until now.
For the little story of the picture: Reiji got one of his great moments when he’s finally alone. He’s actually in a high place, maybe a park, where he can smoke looking at the full city or the starry sky quietly.
Name : Reiji
Surname : Mister rebel (surname given by another member of the group where he is XD)
Age: 22 years old
Gender: Male
Specie: Wolf
Origins: Tokyo
Actual status: First guitarist in the “Shirokuro” group
Personality: He has a real rebel mind, never want to recognize when he’s wrong, and is always looking for solitude. An only one thing rather nice from him is that he’s most of time quiet but if something or somebody really disturbs him (and believe me that’s hard to reach this level) he won’t control himself and sometimes act with violence. He’s not the kind to talk about his life and feelings either, but if you manage to be friend with him you would discover that in fact it’s a bad boy with a golden heart.
Like: To play guitar and be on the scene with his group, competitions, to smoke cigarettes (that’s bad for your health! >< Bad!), to be ALONE when he hasn’t to train or things like that, to play video games (he’s a big fan of Final Fantasy and some other games where you have to shot zombies, or where you can pilot various vehicles to destroy everything around… 8D… Hem… I mean… to save the world from bad people)
Dislike: Most of the other rock or other kind of music bands, pink and too cute things (“girls stuff” as he calls them), that somebody tries to steal or use his guitar
Powers: Unknown but he always can give a good correction with his fists… u.u
Special capacities: N/A
Story: Reiji was born in a nice but rather absent family. To explain: His mother is a translator for an important society of trade, and his father is an ambassador of Japan. That means that both were often leaving their country to travel around the world and to work.
In the very first times of his life Reiji was accompanying, or his mother, or his father during their travels, same if to be honest it wasn’t very attractive for him. He wasn’t going to school like most of the children of his age and had to follow lessons thanks to school by correspondence. The only good point that he kept from this period is a meeting with a famous rock band in USA and who had came in the Japan Embassy to organize a special concert.
This day Reiji was boring in the Embassy and sitting alone near his father office. The guitarist of the American group found the little wolf there while his manager was negotiating some last things inside the office. They couldn’t understand each other as Reiji was speaking only Japanese and the other English, but as soon as the rockstar took his guitar to play some songs and to divert the kid it passed in second plan. By curiosity the child listened and watched carefully the other guy and this one even tried to teach him how to play guitar. At his great surprise the rockstar discovered a big talent. Only looking at the movements, Reiji had managed to redo the songs, of course with clumsiness but it wasn’t bad at all for a kid like him and who had never touched a guitar before.
After this short but cool experience, Reiji decided to become a rock player later and asked his parents to pay him guitar lessons. These ones accepted and as their child was old enough to live without the constant presence of his parents, they also sent him back to Japan in his grandma house. Reiji was more than happy to can have a “normal” life, which meant to have friends, to can go to school and not always changing home because of travels.
But he finally didn’t really appreciate the authority of teachers and people older than him, he began to not come at the lessons anymore and to frequent hooligans groups. It gave him a very bad reputation in his family and school.
One day, while he was walking with some of his new “friends” at night, they met with a group of young people. Those were doing nothing wrong but training and doing music, and they were really amazing. The hooligans laughed at them wickedly just to annoy them and even used violence.
Reiji didn’t agree to act this way with strangers without any reason and began to rebel against his bad friends. Of course it finished into a battle but the wolf got the help of those that he had defended and this was enough to make the hooligans give up.
After that Reiji became friend with the music group he had helped (same if first he was trying to escape them by any ways XD They were so grateful toward the wolf that they always wanted to invite him, or were calling after him in the city when they were meeting, things like that). Of course they soon discovered his awesome talent for guitar and asked him to join their group. Maybe just for fun Reiji finally accepted.
Then the group began to involve in something more serious and got a manager that noticed their big potential. They soon became one of the most famous band around the world...
