Costume Quest: More LikeThe Grand High B---- (The Witches...
I know it's technically not a Halloween film by many standards, but it does come with some of the strangeness that comes with the holiday. Witches, candy, magic, and mayhem!
A 90's flick with based on the book of the same name, and done with work of Jim Henson, I heard The Witches was getting a remake out of the blue and it just made me rethink of the original on a whim just like with Rugrats.
I remember how freaky the film was when I first saw it, and how 'real' it kind of feels. I mean, witches can certainly look like anyone, they don't have to have the green skin...well...like yours truly hehehe. Scales I know, but still. And with them having a meeting about what to do with children, and having their leader, the Grand High Witch, having the malicious, but well thinking plan of magicking candy stores with mice-transforming poison is truly horrifying.
The hero gets a taste, literally, of this himself and is stuck in a VERY short form to try and stop the conference of witches' plan and it is truly entertaining in a way JIm Henson productions are. Compared to what I see of the remake...I have a feeling it's one of the instances where I think I'd enjoy the original more.
SO, naturally, on that whim, I decided to load up the program with Az...though I neglected to get to the shrinking part and...I remember that I guess if you wear mechanical stuff, it doesn't shrink and...well....*glances over*
.......
Sorry Az heh...heh....heh...
You are lucky I got changed before it.,..or I would have fed your mice form to the cat.
Uhhhh heh heh...heh...didn't know you disliked mice so much...
They're a builder and mechanic's nightmare! Always chewing into everything and causing those annoying scratching sounds, UGH! Honestly, I prefer the Tommy getup to THIS.
Duly noted! Duly noted!

Witches definitely had an uneasy atmosphere. At least in the film, the kid got changed back to normal (something the author despised), though I must admit I do enjoy the whole "Shrinking out of clothes" concept due to my odd interests. Oh well, I'm sure there is some kind of mouse sized fabric that you can use to create a decent replacement for your oversized garment.
Aside from the rat part Az should have found the whole shrinking inside his oversized mag a cool and trippy experience. It's an interesting reversal to suddenly find your mag bigger than you when it should be the other way around...well except for when you find yourself mag less like poor Az here.
