Based on the 1972 Peoria Plague radio play, broadcast from the 106.9 WUHN (in present day called WSWT) in Peoria, Illinois. The Peoria Plague was broadcast in the same defictionalized style as the 1938 War Of the Worlds taping, and revolved around a mysterious outbreak of violence in the city, which is eventually revealed to be a zombie plague, and ends with the narrator beginning to turn on the air after realizing that the reason the virus spread so fast was because someone, or something, had infected the water supply with it.
