Oct 8, 2042, Day 18-

Got called in at work today. And of course they clearly wanted me to panic as they told me to go ahead and gather up all of my things as they had me go into this little office off to the side and I could see legal and HR there as well. Clearly I wasn’t able to hide my changes as well as I had thought.

Sup told me that the hospital had contacted them as required by law. But I’m not in as bad a shape as I had thought. Apparently according to the ADA, my situation is conditionally covered. It’s not completely guaranteed protected. Basically so long as I am human enough to do my job I’m allowed to keep working here.

So for now they’re going to ship me off to an office space as far from everyone as possible to hide me away and as long as i can pass this written test every monday, wednesday and friday I’ll be okay to keep working. They also told me I’m obligated to start attending a sort of “your life is ending” support group. It’s not what they called it but it’s what it is as far as I’m concerned.
