This was supposed to be a small 30 page miniseries detailing the backstory of my Blue bird character named Katherine Bloom (“Kate” for the homies), as well as the specter that possessed her named “Melanie”. Kind of like the other comic I made that detailed the backstory of my werewolf character Anthony.

The backgrounds were being made by a friend who had to abandon the project due to time issues, I was planning on doing the backgrounds myself but when I tried to move forward and work on page 5, I realized that I felt uncomfortable drawing it.

I admit that seeing her backstory in written form is kind of disturbing as well, it was the intention anyways, but having to actually draw it is something completely different, and I simply can’t dare to draw it myself.
So instead of letting these four pages go to waste, I figured I would put them here.

I might have the guts to finish this comic in the future, if I do, I will definitely remake these four pages with drawn backgrounds instead of these photo manipulated ones, I asked my friend to do them in this way so the disturbing and uncanny feeling of the story in itself would be amplified, but since he left I had time to think about it and realize that amplifying that was not a good idea.

Just to give an idea of how uncomfortable it was supposed to be, it was inspired by the “Don’t hug me I´m scared” videos.

So yes, continuing this proved to be too disturbing for me :(
