Well, not so much a 'deleted scene but something I made out well around the time I thought of making this story. I'm posting it just for criticism and open minded criticism only.

Just a briefing (and somewhat of a spoiler) Prior to this scene, Evan and Austin found themselves in abit of a tight spot, with a pack of deadly creatures chasing after them as well as the Mayor's son (the Mayor knows Evan through Austin and trusts him to babysit for him). Of course the kid being too scared to focus he stumbles and makes noises, making the creatures come straight for them. Evan did what he could to protect the boy but it was too dangerous for the both of them, Austin saw this and recklessly intervened between the creatures and the two, ordered them to run away while he stay and fight.
The script has it that Austin lost the fight and the penalty was his life but in essence, allow Evan and the boy to escape to safety. Little did they know the creatures were infact out Evan's capture or death (more will be explained later).
Also, of the monsters in the attacking pack, was a 'mimic' breed that can clone/replicate those beings it comes across, which; ultimately helps in their hunt down for Evan and the other four demi.
This particular scene takes place weeks after Austins presumed death and since then the hunt for the 5 demi have caused Evan hell. So much to the point his dreams aren't safe anymore and weird unexplained and unreal events have happened since then.

???: Evan…
???: Evan, wake up!

Our scene resumes slowly, phasing in and focusing. We see Evan lying on the floor in center of the room, Austin kneeled beside him and shaking him to bring back about his consciousness… hopefully. Austin couldn’t help but show high concern, there was blood all over the walls, but that wasn’t a bother to Austin. What was a bother to him was that the blood was infact Evan’s blood!!! Yet his body was unharmed, was it fools blood? But… why does it reek of Evan’s scent?

Austin: EVAN! UP! NOW!!! (abit of worry in his raised tone now)

Evan still lie there motionless, not even sign of breathing until Austin took the initiative and back-slapped him at least 3x in a row. Shock like that usually brought someone out of a trance like state.

Evan (whimpering and wining): AaaaAHHHhhHHhhH!!! NO DON’T TOUCH ME! GET BACK!!!
Austin (very worried now): E-Evan! It’s me, Austin!

Evan suddenly sprang to life and scramble around relentlessly in Austin’s arms as he was heavily disoriented. Last he remember was seeing some creature and being trapped in a room which went so black he couldn’t even see his own nose. Austin did what he could to grip Evan and hold him as not to be hit by him or him hurting himself, he basically had to treat him as if he was having a seizer.

Austin: EVAN! Calm down! You’re safe now. Shh, just relax

As Austin always has in the past, he managed to pacify Evan into a calmer state than his previous. Taking note to how hysterical Evan was upon waking up, he figured he wouldn’t ask about the blood just yet but be thankful his one and only was safe and alive. Austin clutch onto Evan tightly and nest a light peck on his nose, holding the smaller canine in his arms, he knew Evan secretly liked being cradled in arms. After Evan calmed down Austin slowly and steadily got onto his feet and exited the room with haste. Austin sighs as he lean down and nuzzles into Evan again. Evan was tired and too tired to fend for himself for a while, thankful Austin came to his rescue though.

Austin: I’ll see to it nothing else ever happens to you again, I promise, love…

Evan stare at Austin with a dead blank expression totally lost in thought but more importantly, trying to remember… but where to even start? There was the time the whole mess started… There was also the time he was chased… but Austin came to his rescue--


Austin (continuing): We’ll leave this place and start over, a new life, Evan. A second chance, I’m so sorry for ever doubting you, can you forgive me, love?
Evan (abit unsettled now as he was starting to remember… a clear look of it on his face): Austin… put me down now…

--And Austin supposedly died that night…

Austin (puzzled): What is the matter love?
Evan: You aren’t Austin, you aren’t the husband I know and love…

Evan’s voice taking a certain tone to it as a certain force in the area could be felt building up. Even a mortal would feel it as its magnitude was building just that fast! Austin looked at him but away quickly after… had Evan seen through the act of the puppet that is Austin?
