In my state if you hurt or injure a road worker you can get up to $7500 in fines and/or 10 years in jail.

Funny that the first thing your mind jumped to was the old zen wisdom that "Construction worker who intentionally angers truck drivers may become tired before the end of his work day and will regardless go home exhausted"

I don't get how that relates to my thought. I'm just stating the state law, and I'm sure to watch out for construction workers.

Never ever would a construction worker do anything like that. He keeps yelling like that and we may have to stop to gas up the flag car.

Sad thing is, I did flagging for two months during the Olympics in Whistler. And ya, you do get the occasional jerk driver.

I remember one notable driver that I, and subsequently my supervisor, had to deal with. An accident on the highway had backed up traffic for a mile or two. I was working a one way street behind the media center just off from the highway. This person comes up to the exit to the one way street I was looking after, asking if he could just cut through the wrong way. Apparently he was in a rush to get some high level meeting and didn't want to sit in the traffic. I wasn't going to let him through regardless of what he was spouting off about. The time he spent there in the one way argument, he could have already gotten half way through the backed up traffic... ya.... fun times. :\

We don't have that kind of problem in switzerland.

Also bei uns gibt es ein kleines tempo limit auf 80km/h. Nervt ein wenig aber es gibt immer genug ausfahrten um die Baustelle zu umgehen.

das größere problem sind egoistische autofahrer. aber die kennst du bestimmt selber. XD

das ist schwer zu beantworten. es gilt richtgeschwindigkeit 130 kph, was nur bedeutet, daß man sich daran halten _sollte_. es gibt aber auch verschiedene bereiche, die von 100 kph bis 120 kph angegeben sind. diese bereiche überwiegen, und sie sidn verbindlich. strafen können teuer werden.

deutschland ist nicht so wirklich ein vollgas-paradies, nur wenige teilstrecken erlauben vollgas. udn dann gibt es noch schlechte straßen und dichten verkehr...
