Keywords aside, some additional background on Elly is much appreciated, especially when she could easily end up learning some major secrets about her best friend. If she ever does find out it will help to have the best understanding of her. A more pressing matter for Star, however, is how is she going to hug her friend at the end of this heartfelt story without giving everything away? Hmmm...
Hahahaha, you know it was only after I explained how to pronounce it above, that I thougt...I wonder where that phrase even came from...so I googled it like...20 minutes ago. I genuinely had no idea hahaha, accidentally squishing a bit of scottishness into the comic....What could possibly go wrong
You know, I recognise and respect that you've got a story you want to tell, and I am quite invested in that story. But at the same time: remember when this story was just about Star discovering what it meant to let herself go and explore her interests?
To be clear: I am not criticising the direction you're taking this story in, I think it's a very interesting direction and that you are executing your vision very well. It's just that I kind of got into this story for the exploration of ABDL related stuff. I like the direction it's going, even if seeing her boss makes me want to hurt something, and I am totally on board with it.
Not entirely sure what I'm saying here, maybe just that I miss the more "innocent" period of this story? Sorry for the ramble.

Thanks for replying, and I look forward to learning what you mean by that.
Again: I'm really interested in the direction this is going, mostly because I have some faith that despite the bad way things are going in the story right now (with the blackmail and everything) it will all work out in the end, but at the same time... I personally found the time of Star just experiencing ABDL related stuff, learning that it was okay to let herself go and trust others to take care of her, to be the most interesting part of the comic so far.
Does that make sense? I like where it's at now and where it's going, I just kind of loved what it was doing before.
You keep on doing what you're doing though, because I really do love this story.

Yeah dont worry there will be more of that. I mean from a comic world point of view...only 9 days have passed. Im gonna hafta time jump to make some of this a bit more realistic at some point and once her rl has calmed down a little she'll get back to the self discovery stuff.
I think...what im trying to show in the comic is that life isnt tidy or perfect, and also that sometimes you may want to do little stuff but other commitments get in the way and that really life is all a big juggling act only made more complicated by the fact you have this little side wanting to coe out and play

Oh yeah, I can understand that. Real life is important and complicated, so it makes sense to include it in the story. I'm just not that a big fan of drama overall, and I'm emotionally attached to Star by now so seeing her deal with all this crap hurts a bit (I'm sure you know what I mean), and am complaining about nothing.
Again: loving this, wonderful story and I can't wait to see where it goes. I feel I have to keep saying that because I'd sound too critical otherwise.

We I get what your saying mate yeah its a discovery of her little side but you got to think about life around all that how life is effected slowly or changes that why I like this comic his has just as much story about how your regular life interacts with your other side your regular life is apart of it.. This comic has so much world building
Like I said elsewhere in this chain: I'm mostly complaining about nothing. Best way I can put it is like this. Star discovering her little side? 9/10. Family drama, friendship drama, and blackmail? 8/10. To me at least. It's still good, still great, I just have a preference (and a general dislike of drama as a whole).
Hope that makes sense.

Its a new word to me; it's definably not a term that would come up in my midwestern or nerd circles. My pals and I compete to find and discuses funny concepts or new words. Random brain food, such as a group of rhinos are called a 'crash' or Venus fly traps react differently to different types of music (opening for some, closing shut for others).
What goes around comes around? What's old is new again? It's very possible that since this IS such an old term that many younger people wouldn't know about it. I guess a lot of it has to do with where you're from (East Coast U.S., now living on the West Coast) and when you were born, 1957 for me.
Plus regional dialects, when I was living in the South there were some humdingers I'd never heard of!

Most likely. Terms like 'dial' or 'hang up' are consider normal for my peers, but some of our younger siblings don't know it or asked what it was. It was a weird moment. Regional wise, Midwesterners has a 'lack of accent' or at time very 'waterdown canadian' accent. It's had to say how it affects our vocab. The US is a roulette of different vernaculars and accents. You don't get the same thing within some towns in some places.
These last few pages are speaking to me a bunch. The whole secret from best friend thing, since getting in to this community I was struggling to talk about it to some close IRL friends and it felt like I was keeping a big secret. Iβm getting better at it but only in small bits π
