An animation test for a short I'm working on, demonstrating the main character Mac speaking/ expressions. What's he saying? You'll have to wait for the final animation..

Done in Flash MX, 16 fps on 1's

Holy cow.. that looks amazingly good! The animation is extremely smooth and fluid.. the gestures are spot on.. whatever he is saying his mouth is also very well animated..

..I can't wai to get to see the finished product!

its a solo project, I might title it Party Crasher. Hopefully to be completed in a month or so depending on schedule.

Very, very impressive.

I like the use of traditional combined with flash... you don't simply rely on motion-tweens, you actually try to emulate frame by frame. Fluid but not like unrealistically so.

Cool that you noticed, 95% of it is frame by frame, Flash tween just cant capture the oldschool physics of animation

Hey, this is pretty nice, the expressions are great! This is flash and all, and thats why it's so rough-looking, but im sure you would have no problems with pro-animation with paper and such. Take your time with this thing, if it comes out great, who cares when it will be finished.
