Varied from my normal style here, but I actually really like it. It was originally an atempt at playing with solid colors, but I wanted to shade the face and...well....that happened.
It was unintentional, but this is the closest I think I'll ever get to capturing what an olderish Dib looks like in my mind. Not quite attractive, 'specially not in the conventional way, bruised up a bit, deep bags under his eyes from staying up late, and I've always imagined him as the kind of kid to get a red nose and ears during winter. xD

But dispite all that he has this...something....that attracts people to his being. Something strong enough that he could almost be considered desirable....if he weren't always chasing that green kid.

It took a couple of tries to get the age right. He kept coming out too old when I wanted him to still have a jailbait youthfull quality. The trench was kinda a bitch too. But Christ this was fun. 8D

Maybe some mechanics for a change?
