Hey everyone!

I've been going through a really rough time this year and haven't had the strength or physical capability to do any art at all, since my Toothless hoodie in February. I've wanted to come back to my art platforms, but I'm still coping with too many medical issues atm. I was honestly going to opt out of doing a carving this year, but I'm super glad I didn't!

Since I first started my carvings in 2009, I decided not to let things get the better of me, and to push myself (a bit too much though!). My surgery and other issues have been endlessly postponed, but it worked out in giving me much needed extra time so that I could get this bad boy done haha We set everything up in bed so that I could work on things, and surprisingly, it went great!

My usual gig is for the World of Warcraft pumpkin carving contest, but for the last 2 years, it's been on hold, especially now with what's going on in the world. So...this gave me the opportunity to branch out and do something else, since I normally don't carve something non-WoW related (until last year with my Jurassic World logo), and again this year!

I'm a huge fan of Puzzle&Dragons, so when the Monster Hunter collab returned, it really helped push me forward, and I'm so glad I was able to push through and carve this super intense Monstie!

I do hope you guys enjoy this as much as I painstakingly loved crafting it! I present the beautiful and deadly dragon, Alatreon!
