Not sure why I wanted to draw character named that. Probably because it sounds ugly and it makes for a good name for an unassuming antagonist. Not sure if I will make anything out of this character, but I imagine he's like the last line of defense for a group of villains, for when all else fails.
I have tried to explain what I mean when I say "rumples" or "rumply," and I already screwed up twice trying to explain it on YouTube. In one video, I described it as a cute slang term for chubby, but in another video I described it as being an ugly term. The fact of the matter is that they don't refer to fat, specifically, but generally body folds and divots and such. Reptile bellies like ones found on alligators and dragons generally tend to be quiet rumply whether the character is fat or not. The Big Matt song I created in some of my Youtube videos ended up being used first for a character that had virtually no rumples at all. It wasn't until I used it for Night Clubber/Red Balzaak (Baalzak?) in a Dragon Quest video where it sort of made sense to call him "rump'/rumply."
When it comes to rumples, there is only so much I can tolerate. This and Splendid Ricky are about the most I generally like in a fatfur. Just enough to make them look kinda gross as a way of making them look imposing, but not terribly repulsive.
