Flinters has a baby!
I was out on a day trip with two good roo friends-
tyrnn and
axelroo
We went to the Christmass Tree and Roos Outback farm in Arlington, WA where we got to see kangaroos, wallabies, llamas, and... ring tail lemurs? No joke, they had lemurs. I'll post a photo.
At the end of the tour, we got to hold a baby wallaby. This little flyer is adorable Her fur is rabbit-soft and she is just so gentle and trusting. I can see why people want to have wallabies for pets.
And no, I didn't know her mother's name, so no paternity suits are coming my way... for now. :)

Aw, she such a little cutie! She looks a little bit puzzled at being held like that, but I tend to think most young animals look that way in any case. It probably comes from all these weird, furless creatures walking around as if they own the planet.
It sounds like a wonderful trip, and I'm kind of jealous about the lemurs! I've never seen any in person, and I want to so much. I want to think that someone around here used to have a couple of llamas just hanging out in a pasture. But they might have been alpacas instead. I never had the chance to stop and ask, and it's kind of hard to tell, when you're zipping by at 55 mph.
Thanks for sharing all the pictures, too!
